WHO IS MIKE DIAS & WHAT'S THIS SITE ABOUT?

Headshot of Mike Dias — creator of Nobody Likes Networking and keynote speaker on trust and connection.
“Focus and building relationships and friendships. Not on transactions. Wake up every morning and look for creative ways to add value and to help everyone around you. And never underestimate the value of a favor.”
Mike Dias

I’m Mike Dias, and I know one thing for certain: Nobody likes networking. But everyone loves the results it brings. That’s why I built this site—to teach people how to make authentic connections, unlock hidden opportunities, and grow influence without being awkward or transactional.

I didn’t plan on publishing this work online. Normally, I save it for keynotes, workshops, or private coaching. But I knew that in a world where connection feels harder than ever, these tools could make a difference.

Networking isn’t just about meeting people—it’s about following up, following through, and building systems that help you keep promises. That’s where CRM comes in. Anyone can tell you why networking matters. I’ll show you how to do it—step by step.

My approach was forged over 20 years of global sales and product leadership in pro audio and consumer electronics. I’ve placed products on the biggest stages in the world, launched award-winning brands, led international dealer networks responsible for 75% of revenue, and even turned around a manufacturer during a pandemic. I’ve also spoken from the main stages at NAMM and AES, contributed to MIX magazine, and founded IEMITO, the international trade organization for in-ear monitors.

The more I taught my teams how to connect, the better they performed—and the more I saw that networking could be taught as a repeatable skill. Today, through Nobody Likes Networking, I deliver keynotes, workshops, and executive training that help even reluctant networkers become confident and effective.

You and your teams will leave energized, laughing, and ready to take action—with a framework they can apply immediately to grow influence, deepen trust, and turn networking from a chore into a competitive advantage.
